Visualizing the 2011 HPCDB Program

Motivation

Informed by the SC2011 theme of data-intensive computing, we propose to bring together researchers in the databases/data management community (exemplified by venues such as SIGMOD, VLDB, and ICDE) and the high performance computing community to identify opportunities for collaboration and set new research directions.

Call for Papers

Short summary
We seek 4-page position papers and/or 1-page lightning talk proposals that involve database techniques for high-peformance computing applications.  Lightning talks will be 5 minutes and should be as provocative as possible.  Authors of accepted position papers will give a 25 minute talk.
